I’ve been working on a technique in Photoshop, creating a 3D anaglyph image from a single photograph (for true 3D, it’s necessary to have two photos taken at slightly different angles).

In this case, red and cyan layers of the photo are created, selections of those layers from the photo are shifted right or left to create depth.

To see the depth, you’ll need some of those spanky cyan/red glasses from the comic book store.

This looks great. I've just started doing the same thing with DA stock photos. I was a little surprised this one wasn't a real, 2-image anaglyph. Very nice effect.

I've been using a freeware program called AnaBuilder. I'm still learning it, and have been creating mostly in full red/blue until I figure out some of the niceties of eliminating the ghosts I come up with otherwise. I'd love to get some feedback on the two I have up now if you feel like checking them out.

I'll definitely be looking at the rest of your gallery. Keep up the good work!
